Air & Sea Cargo Shipping from China to Iran via Dubai with DDP
You need to consider how to ship cargo from China to Iran when you purchase goods in China. Currently, shipping from China to Iran directly is often impractical, because of the high air & sea shipping rates and limited airline and shipping line options and other potential restrictions. A better approach is to ship from China to Dubai first, and then transport the goods onward to Iran. You will find a comprehensive guide and all the essential information you need to navigate the import process from China to Iran via Dubai.
Step 1: Collect goods from suppliers in China
We can work with your supplier, as well as potentially multiple suppliers in China, to collect the goods. You just need to provide us with the contact details of each supplier and let them know that Supertrans Logistics will be your local shipping agent to handle the shipping process. We will arrange to pick up the goods from the suppliers if you do EX-WORK terms. Alternatively, please ask the suppliers to send the goods to the most suitable warehouse of our warehouses in Yiwu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, based on their locations and type of goods if you do FOB terms. We will handle the rest of the shipping process.
Step 2: Warehousing and consolidate cargo from various suppliers in China
After collecting all goods from various suppliers at our warehouse, we re-pack, label and palletize the items according to your specific requirement. We then consolidate the goods from different suppliers into a single shipment, allowing you to save on shipping fees.
Step 3: Export documentation and customs declaration
After consolidation, we process all necessary export documents in our trading company based on the packing lists and commercial invoices provided by your suppliers. We combine multiple packing lists into a single packing list, and combine multiple commercial invoices into a single commercial invoice, and then make other necessary export documents according to the combined packing list and commercial invoice. Once all necessary documents are completed, we declare cargo through Chinese customs system. If your suppliers provide their own customs documents for the export customs declaration, we can use those for the export declaration instead.
Step 4: Ship from China to Dubai by air/sea
We normally book with one of the essential airlines or shipping lines in advance for shipments from the perfect airport / seaport in China to Dubai as soon as we verify cargo ready date.
- Air cargo shipping: EK(Emirates Skycargo), CX(Cathay Cargo), CZ (China Southern), MU (China Eastern), HU (Hainan Airlines)
- Sea freight shipping: COSCO, MSC, MAERSK, CMA, YANGMING, TS_LINE, WANHAI, HMM, HAPAG LLOYD
- Origin airport: Hongkong (HKG), Guangzhou (CAN), Shenzhen (SZX), Chengdu (CTU), Shanghai (SHA), Beijing (PEK)
- Origin seaport: Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Ningbo, Shanghai, Qingdao, Dalian
- Delivery time: around 3-5 days for air cargo, around 30-35 days for sea shipping
Step 5: Customs clearance in Dubai
Our Dubai team handles all the necessary customs documents in their trading company for the clearance once shipments reach Dubai. Clients do not need to provide any customs paperwork, nor do they require a local trading company in Dubai to process documents. It typically takes just a few days for the customs clearance in Dubai.
Step 6: Delivery in Dubai
The Dubai team collects the shipments from the airport (DWC, DXB) or seaport (Jebel Ali) once customs clearance is completed. They then sort the cargo at our agent's warehouse.
By collaborating with our local Dubai agents, we can deliver to any location within the UAE. Often, we deliver cargo to an Iranian boat for clients from Iran. You just need to find a boat in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and share with us full details of the boat (captain name, cell phone number, boat number, address, final receiver name), then we will work with local agent to deliver cargo to the target boat accordingly.
